Since January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2019 we have served more than 1,500 people. We have given out more than 7,000 bags of food. We thank our volunteers, who work so hard each week, the community of Hanson, who supports us. Many hands and kind hearts make the Hanson Food Pantry what it is a place where people in need are treated with respect, kindness and a smile.

What is the difference between a food bank and a food pantry? A food bank is the storehouse for millions of pounds of food and other products that go out to the community. A food pantry functions as the arms that reach out to that community directly.
