The Hanson Food Pantry is so thankful to all the volunteers and Town Departments that helped us during the power outage. Words cannot express our gratitude. Our volunteers were exceptional, manning the generators every four hours to maintain the gas level. And then when power was restored checking for any damaged food and cleaning, disinfecting our appliances and doing some grocery shopping so that we will have the basics for our clients. To the Hanson Fire, Police and Highway thank you so much for helping with equipment, checking on the food pantry and answering questions when called. Because of all of these dedicated people, the Pantry was able to open on Tuesday and serve people in need.
